News: "Stuff The Bus" Campaign to Help Victims of Tuscaloosa Tornado
CLEVELAND, OHIO - May 27, 2011 - A RTA Paratransit driver with family ties to Tuscaloosa, Alabama has started a campaign to assist the victims of a mile wide tornado that hit Tuscaloosa on April 27, 2011. That disaster killed over 40 people and left parts of the city obliterated. The "Stuff the Bus" campaign is accepting donations of personal items such as toiletries as well as diapers and wipes for babies and small children. Monetary donations will also be accepted. The public can drop off items at 4601 Euclid Ave. in Cleveland until the end of May, when a local company which has donated it's services will haul the supplies to Tuscaloosa.
