NISSAN NV200 - The Nissan NV200 is one of 3 finalists in the NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission's Taxi of Tomorrow competition to find a single new taxi design for New York City. The winner will get the exclusive right to supply the fleet of 11,000 cabs for 10 years. The Nissan NV200 was first shown at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show and was later introduced into the European market in 2010. It is manufactured in China and is designed to meet the various requirements needed for a light commercial vehicle, including that of a wheelchair accessible taxi.
