Non-Profit Spotlight: Easy Lift Transportation

SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA - Easy Lift Transportation is a charitable non-profit provider of curb-to-curb wheelchair and assisted ambulatory transport. They have been serving the needs of people with disabilities in South Santa Barbara County, California since 1979. It began as a special project of the local chapter of the Easter Seals Society with a converted motor home, driver, and on board hostess. Today, Easy Lift has 15 vehicles and operates 363 days per year. Besides the Dial-A-Ride service, they also provide mobility training, a loaner vehicle program, and community driver training.
